We will be having an open house to meet the new 4-H Agent, Krystal Williams, on Monday, April 24, from 4PM to 6:30PM at the Pennino Building on the 10th floor. All 4-H members and adult volunteers are invited to come participate! There will be games, snacks and drinks provided.
Krystal Williams is a lifelong 4-H Member, starting 4-H when she was 5 years old in the Cloverbud Program in Campbell County, Wyoming. Through her 4-H career, Krystal showed every species of animals, excluding chickens and goats; and participated in an array of projects including, but not limited to, Shooting Sports, Leathercraft, Photography, Food & Nutrition, Clothing & Textiles, and much more.
Krystal graduated from the University of Wyoming with a BS in Agricultural Education with a minor in Animal Science Production and an Associate in Biology Education. While in college, Krystal was a team member on the UW Livestock Judging team for 2 years, a member and President of ATA, a member in the Collegiate 4-H Club, and a member in the Collegiate FFA Chapter.
Krystal has been a summer 4-H Intern for two County Offices in Wyoming, one County Office in Virginia, and a yearlong intern for the Wyoming Extension Office. After graduating college, Krystal took a 4-H & Youth Development Extension Agent position with Texas A&M in a County Office in Northeast Texas, where she worked for the last 2 years.
Outside of work, Krystal enjoys spending time outside, either playing on the lake, running with her two dogs, horseback riding, hiking new areas, and spending time with her husband, 4-year old stepdaughter and friends.
